An Evening in the Community with FoodShare

Bernardin's very own Emerie Brine was in the community teaching students about canning and combining wholesome ingredients to make flavourful and delicious chutney. The workshop was hosted in partnership with FoodShare Toronto, which is a local not for a profit whose aim is to increase access to nutritious and affordable foods.

In 2015, FoodShare helped grow 6,370 pounds of produce in schools and distributed over 2 million pounds of fresh fruit and vegetables. You can check out all the incredible work that FoodShare does on their website.
